What identification do I need to scrap metal?
If you wish to dispose of your metal or ELV at our site, please remember to bring evidence of identity which is required from all persons disposing of metal for payment. Accepted forms of identity are as follows:
*Accepted proof of address documents: TV Licence, Bank Statement, Utility Bill, Shot Gun Certificate or HMRC Correspondence.
What prices do you pay for scrap metal?
Scrap metal prices change daily. Metals are traded on the commodity market and the prices we pay for scrap metal reflect the price we will be able to sell it for. JB Pearce pay top prices for recycling all your scrap metal, we advise you to phone us for the latest prices.

Do you collect vehicles?
Yes we you can receive a quote & book a collection online in just a few clicks!
Is there a minimum amount of scrap metal you’d buy?
No, if you are bringing your scrap metal to us there is no minimum amount that we will accept, there is no maximum either!
Can I simply turn up?
Yes, bring your scrap metal to our yard. Here it will be sorted and weighed and you’ll be paid for your scrap metal there and then. If you don’t already have an account with us, you’ll need to bring photo ID.
Do you accept cars?
Yes we do and we can provide a Certificate of destruction.
Do you supply skips?
Yes! If you manufacture a regular and/or bulk amount of scrap metal we can arrange to supply you with an RORO skip and organise for its regular delivery and pick up, or ad hoc collections when full of scrap metal. Smaller skips can be provided (for scrap metal only)
